Baseline Profile possable?
Hi, I’m interested in encoding VFW x264 video using VirtualDub\VirtualDubMod. The encoded files are to be used on my Archos 404 personal media player. This player, and many other PMP players require that the H264 video use the Baseline Profile. The GUI (codec configuration window) that the VFW x264 uses in VirtualDub does not allow for setting it up to use the Baseline Profile, and according to your guide, I do not think your version of VFW x264 doesn’t either. I think you could serve the PMP market a great service if you would include the option to select the Baseline Profile in your version of VFW x264. There are a lot of people with iPod video players, and other PMP’s that would like to utilize the filters available in VirtualDub\VirtualDubMod if this were possable.
