Do you think you could make a new post incl. the changelog every time you release an new VFW? //B

I post about new version here and at Doom9 only when the changes are significant (something more significant than updating of x264 and ffh264 libraries and other small or cosmetic changes). If you want always know about la-*test*-('") versions you can subscribe for notification at project's sourceforge page (click "Monitor this package" link there), changelog your also can find there under "Release notes" link.
