decoder test
Hi, any way to -*test*-('") the installation of the decoder? I installed DTS_x264.exe and tried to open an avi-encapsuled h264 with VirtualDub, getting: "couldn't locate decompressor format for h264 (unknown)". I tried also with mp4 container and raw h264, with no luck. Suposedly I don't have ffdshow, I have ffvfw, but it doesn't handle h264. Must I install the ffdshow version? regards, Martin

Hmm, try uninstalling ff_vfw and then installing a new ffdshow. Yes, there were some problems for ff_vfw-only users in the past, too. Afterwards just try out the ffdshow version of the installer (it should work fine from there :)).
