decoding with virtualdubmod problem i don't know what happened but decoding h264 videos (that the videos that was encoded by your x264) way back was not a problem when i installed ffdshow and enabled h264 in it. But now, it doesn't seem to decode in virtualdubmod again >_< it just says "VideoSourceAVI error : The source image format is not acceptable. (error code -2)"
I've uninstalled all codecs in my computer and downloaded the la-*test*-('") ffdshow and enabled h264 - but it still doesn't decode at virtualdubmod >_< i've googled seriously for more than 2 hours trying to locate the problem with every google hit and following solutions - but to no avail - it still doesn't work >_<
I can't really use avisynth script because i have to append three videos that are in h264 (which was all encoded by DTS_x264 and the final output must be in h264 and not in divx/xvid/etc).
please help! >_< I need h264 decoding in virtualdubmod >_<

Have you tried opening the file with the la-*test*-('") normal VirtualDub?
MOD is quite old now, and might not be as stable or compatible when reading AVIs with -frames.
If normal VirtualDub works, manually delete all frames marked (they should be at the very beginning) and do a direct steam copy into a new AVI, which VdubMOD can use.
(Or better yet, uninstall VirtualDubMOD completely and use only VirtualDub, which is newer and better).

ok - let me try that. what bugs me is that the h264 DTS_x264 used to work in virtualdubmod >_< i don't know what happened.
err - i don't know exactly how to delete frames marked (like selecting and clicking delete in the keyboard?)
I'll report what happened. thanks a bunch, DeathTheSheep-dono ^^
Edit:
i recieved this error or warning
but it worked!! yehey! *confettis*
anyway, is the newest virtualdub able to add comments on it? and if not, how will i delete frames marked ? i really have no idea how :(

To delete frames, just move the cursor to them and hit the delete key on your keyboard. Yep, that's all there is to it :)
The error you are getting is likely related to the Panasonic DV Codec. Similar errors occurred with older versions of some other less common VfW codecs. It really has no effect, and is unrelated to dts_x264 :)
Cheers!
PS: Did you recently install a DV system at home to use with your computer? If so, maybe VirtualDubMOD is picking up on Panasonic's faulty codec and failing, while VirtualDub(normal) sees the problem and gets around it. Just a hypothesis.
