GUI for x26 - it can look nicer, like this...
This is how GUI can look (done just in couple of minutes). With preconfigured profiles, automatic generation of command lines, and dynamic help (which is already writen as PDF)

But, where is download link for that FANTASTIC GUI?

But, where is download link for that FANTASTIC GUI? I’ve created this only as example (with Microsoft VisualStudio 2005 .NET, C#) for developers of current GUI. It is free will of the DeathTheSheep to reuse this look (and best looks of other encoding interfaces). I think, current developers need to look into other popular interfaces and combine this knowledge into x264 GUI (It is most effective way not to invent wheels :)

About Presets, where did you find them ? They come from Sharktooth ? Also, this is a section for VFW interface not the CLI. I don't know why did you create a tab for this part...VFW can't access to the CLI interface.

In fact VirtualDub has a mode frameserver! Probably to copy a code VirtualDub under that it worked with x264? It would turn out Nundub, only on work with x264

It's very possible to frameserve into the CLI with VirtualDub. You might want to search Doom9 for more info on the method. Of course, you could also just pass an AVS script to the CLI in the first place. Might help in batch encoding if you know what you're doing. I like your GUI style. Perhaps it can be integrated into the VfW (not the CLI stuff, though--remember, CLI and VfW are 2 different things). I'll see what I can do about it for now... PS: In that screenshot, you clearly have the "Quality:" and "Speed:" meters mixed up ;) Be careful there!
