I'm In BiG Trouble .. Please Help !
Hi Everyone ! Well .. I'm In BiG Trouble ! Here's My Problem : Till The Last Week, I Was Using An Old Build Of x264, That Of January 2007 .. Then I Decided To Update To The La-*test*-('") Build By Snow Xmas. I've Started Encoding With That Build And I've Strangely Noticed That x264 Has No More Respect To The Bitrate I Specify, I Mean .. I'm Getting Highly Oversized Files. I've Tried Installing Many Other Builds, Nothing Worked .. I've Even Tried To Set The Bitrate Too Low, And I Felt Like x264 Is Not Considering My Bitrate And Is Just Using A Constant Quality Like Compression Method .. Well, You're Gonna Tell Me That I Need To Go Back To The Old Build, I've Tried It And I Was Shocked By The Fact That That Build Is Giving Oversized Files Too Wheares It Was Extreamly Respectful To The Specified Bitrate In The Past .. Please Help, Please ! Note : I Guess It's Something That Has To Do With Quantizer Compression Or That VBV Max Bitrate Which I Can't Set.
