x264 VfW and DivXauto
Hello chaps, I'm using divxauto (version 4, I think, the one you can use with any coded) to convert my videos, and the x264 configuration doesn't take the change of mode (single, multi, ...) into account. It looks changed at first, but, for instance, the stats-file field is not greyed out when switching from multi to single (if it was previously set to single and divxauto changed it to multi), and if the configuration dialog box is closed directly, the changes made to the mode are not saved (the bitrate is, though). If I change the mode manually then all works as it should. Does that make sense? I'm using Core 55, rev 655, built on the 6th of may 2007. Thanks for your excellent work. -- Edit -- You may need that to -*test*-('") it, that's a typical command-line for divxauto to use x264: "WI00:The name of the compressor choser, can vary from one program to another, sometimes it's ICCompressorChoose" "CB00:x264 - H" BT04: WI01: "CB00:Multipass - First Pass (fast)" ED00:900 BT02: WI00: BT02: QU00: "ED00:900" sets the bit-rate to 900 What's after closes the x264 config, sets the focus back to the previous window (where we select the coded) and closes it (BT02:). The last instruction exits divxauto. There are quotes where parameters contain spaces.
